PC in de problemen na bijplaatsen RAM geheugen

Hoi Hoi,

Wie kan me helpen ?!?
Ik heb een Shuttle AK31 V3 moederbord met 4 geheugenplaatsen
Tijdens de aanschaf in 2001 is 2x 256mb geplaatst
Nu heb ik 2x 512 bijgekocht en geïnstalleerd
In eerste instantie draait alles ok en geeft hij netjes de nieuwe waarde 1,5Gb aan. maar na verloop van tijd start de PC opnieuw op of slaat vast
Bij navraag in de winkel zou een bios update kunnen helpen echter is de laatste update reeds geïnstalleerd. Tevens heb ik 2 nieuwe ram kaartjes meegekregen welke dezelfde klacht veroorzaken. Ik ben benieuwd naar jullie reacties.

Volgens mij ziet die het geheugen niet eens, maar heb je ook gekeken of het geheugen wel op dat moederbord past?

De bankjes passen op het moederbord zou ik zeggen
Als ik ze erbij prik telt het systeem de waardes netjes op tot 1,5 Gb

Het moederbord is volgens mij geschikt voor max 4 Gb dus dat zou het probleem niet moeten zijn

Zou het wellicht een conflict kunnen zijn tussen de merknamen van het geheugen. De bestaande zijn van Samsung en de nieuwe van corsair. Deze zijn 400MHz maar past zich aan aan de omgeving, in dit geval 133MHz

Dat is wat ik bedoelde wat Pipo zegt en je hebt verschillen in geheugen ECC en NON ECC soms kan je PC dat wel aan en soms niet, zit wedelijk verschil in al zijn de maatjes wel goed.

En soms moeten bepaalde sloten eerst gevuld worden
bv 3 en 4 werken niet als in 1 en 2 geen bankje zit.
