Okee, laatste poging:

Het hangt denk ik op dat Directx9.
Dat kun jij wel geïnstalleerd hebben, maar dat wil nog niet zeggen dat jouw videokaart er ook geschikt voor is.
Daar ga ik nu even naar kijken.

Hier alvast wat informatie wat ik op die site vond over je grafische kaart:
1. Right click on "My Computer" icon and then click on
"properties".
2. Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager".
(NOTE: IF UPDATING DRIVER GO TO STEP 3B)
3a. Double click "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)".
(Go To STEP 4)
3b. Double click "Display adapters". Double click on the
graphics controller shown.
4. Click on "driver" tab and select "Update Driver".
5. Click on the "Next" button.
6. Select the following option: "Display a list of the
known drivers for this device...". Click on the "Next"
button. (NOTE: IF UPDATING DRIVER GO TO STEP 8)
7. Select "Display adapters". Click on the "Next" button.
8. Click on the "Have Disk..." button and then the
"Browse" button.
9. Enter the directory where you unzipped the file you
downloaded, and then enter the "Graphics" subdirectory.
Highlight the "igXP32.INF" file. Click on the "Open" button.
10. Click on the "OK" button. A window listing all of the
available display types should open. Select the display
adapter that your system contains and then click on the
"Next" button.
11. Click on the "Next" button. The operating system will
install the driver. Click on the "Finish" button when
done.
12. Click on the "Close" button. If a dialog asking to reboot
is displayed, click on the "Yes" button to automatically reboot. Otherwise, manually restart the system.
The driver should now be loaded.
To determine if the driver has been loaded correctly, refer
to the Verifying Installation section below.

Vreemd he, ik kan helemaal niks vinden over de videokaart en directx.
Dit is wat ik wel gevonden heb, gaat over een spel, dat heeft Directx8 nodig en zelfs dat schijnt het al niet te ondersteunen.

Crashday requires at least a DirectX 8.1 graphics card with vertex and pixel shader support to run. Some graphics cards do not meet these requirements even though they might have the required video memory available. Here is a non-exhaustive list of video cards that are not supported:

Timelord, het gaat om laptops en dan wordt een aparte videokaart wel heel lastig....
Wellicht is bijplaatsen/vervangen van geheugen een optie (kost op het ogenblik niet zo heel veel, tenminste voor recente laptops, voor oudere weet ik het niet).
En Pluut: de help van Easycomputing is goed, dus stel je vraag daar ook eens. N.B. Kan het beste via hun webformulier.

er is al geheugen bijgeplaatst en heel veel van die eerdere genoemde stappen zijn inmiddels ook al gedaan ,zijn nu nog bezig bij die directx te kijken
